Avalanche Course 

  • 01/14/23 to 01/15/23

  • Davos or Oberengadin, depending on snow conditions

  • min. 4 max. 8 participants

Course content:

  • Interpreting the avalanche situation report

  • LVS – search, behavior in an emergency

  • Graphic reduction method, 3x3

  • tour planning

  • Behavior in the field: decision-making strategies, slope assessment, recognizing danger patterns

Own equipment:

Touring skis or freeride skis or splitboards with skins or snowshoes for snowboarders, avalanche transceiver set (beeper, probe and shovel), airbag if available. I have equipment for hire if needed.

Prerequisite is the safe descent in the terrain (parallel turns)

Price: CHF 295,- excl. overnight stay and possibly ski pass
